TEU (Twenty-Foot Equivalent Unit)

TEU is a standard unit of measurement in the shipping industry used to describe the capacity of container ships and terminals. One TEU equals the dimensions of a standard 20-foot-long shipping container. A 40-foot container equals 2 TEUs.
